WELCOME TO KINGS KIDS DAY CARE CENTER!

King’s Kids has been a ministry of The First Baptist Church of Grove City since August of 1992.  KKDC was created as an outreach to the community and is a non-profit organization overseen by a ministry team made up of First Baptist Church members.

The ministry team is responsible for the entire operation of the Center and meets once a month to discuss matters presented by the Director and to periodically review policies and procedures.

The ministry team plans the budget and is responsible for the long-term planning of the Center.  We are please to welcome our new director Sarra Hamilton!

About Us

King’s Kids Day Care Center is a non-profit Christian based child care program. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere that encourages tenderness, peace, and love. Our curriculum is designed to focus on the different developmental needs of children ages 5 months through 10 years. Daily lessons include, but are not limited to, gross motor activities, pre-academics and academics (Language Arts, Math, Reading Readiness, Arts/Crafts, and Music), Bible lessons, and quiet play.

Physical needs are met through activities which involve both large and small muscles. Children are also taught the importance of good health habits and safety guidelines.

Emotional needs are met by recognizing the importance of daily praise both verbally and through hugs. Children are encouraged to express their feelings and cope with them in acceptable ways.

Social needs are met by stressing good manners, consideration for others, and respect for adults as well as peers. These are encouraged through behavioral guidelines and staff examples.

In order to meet spiritual needs, each staff member is expected to be a living example of Christian love, patience, and understanding. This is to be carried out by keeping the words of Jesus close to our hearts and actions.

Throughout the year the children will receive two progress reports-one in the fall and one in the spring. At some point, we may ask you to come in for a conference with your child’s teacher. Because you are in the Center several times a week, short discussions can be held between you and your child’s teacher about his daily progress. Please remember that at this time, the teacher is usually watching a group of children.

The Director is available from 7:30 till 4:30…..Please address office manager in the Director’s absence. Your suggestions are important to us as we strive to provide quality care.
