Pre-School Program

Here at KKDC, we utilize The Creative Curriculum.  Building a partnership with your family and ensuring that you have a role in your child’s education is a critical component of The Creative Curriculum.  This research based curriculum has five components: how children develop and learn, the learning environment, what children learn, caring and teaching, and partnering with families.  These components shaped the learning objectives in this curriculum and will help us to provide your child with meaningful and engaging experiences.

All Pre-school classes will meet from 8:30am – 11:30am.  We will provide a mid-morning snack at 10:15am.  Our daily schedule will be as follows:

8:30     Arrival/ free play

8:45     Circle Time – welcome/ calendar/ weather/ intro to lesson of the day

9:15     Music / gross motor movement

9:45     Lesson/ story time

10:15   Snack

10:45   Recess – cooperative games

11:15   Story time/craft

The Pre-School schedule options are as follows:

Explorers ( 4 & 5 Yrs. Only ) –  (M-F – $110.00/week) – This class meets Monday – Friday.

Explorers ( 4 & 5 Yrs. Only ) – (M-W-F – $85.00/week) – This class meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
